Choosing ReproMed

Below we take a look at some of the options for a single woman from donor sperm to egg freezing.

  • At ReproMed, we believe that all women deserve the chance to become mothers. We felt this way when we first opened the doors to our clinic 10 years ago, and more than ever today.
  • Fertility issues: It’s important to remember that single women may encounter some of the same infertility issues as heterosexual couples, but our fertility specialists can help.
  • There are treatments available for many infertility problems, so the sooner you seek treatment for infertility, the greater the chances for successful conception.

My journey to parenthood

"I thought that we'd be waiting a couple of months to get to the fertility clinic, and they'd told me that there was a waiting list but within a couple of weeks we got the first call."

FAQs

There is parking available at our Cork, Kilkenny & Drogheda clinics. In our Dublin clinic there is a Luas Park and Ride car park beneath us at the Balally Luas stop. Payment for this car park is payable at the Luas ticket machines. We would mainly advise patients to park in the Dundrum Town Centre car park which is directly across the road from our clinic. Traffic in the Dundrum area can be heavy so please allow extra time to get to your appointment. In our Galway clinic limited parking is available. Parking is also available in Dunne Stores Knocknacara which is a 4-minute walk from the clinic.

We will arrange for you to have testing done before or after this consultation if it is indicated.

Typically the first consultation will last 45 minutes to one hour, depending on the complexity of each individual case.

No referral is needed. We simply require patients to complete a patient registration form with your demographics, important medical information and past fertility history if this is relevant. We also request that patients send us any medical notes or previous fertility test results by email at least one week prior to the appointment so that the doctor can review them.
